Yeah, that’s right “tp” as in toilet paper. I do have a favorite. I have for years. Life is entirely too short to use sandpaper on your skin. However, something has made this lifelong favorite even better.

Charmin has added a scalloped edge. I first came across this by accident about two years ago. Yep, during the pandemic when tp was scarce. I just could not believe my eyes when I opened it! What a silly small detail that makes such a huge impact. Remember the days when they had pastel colored tp? Ok, I think that might have just aged me a bit, but seriously we all use it. Why not have a little fun with it. Now if Bounty or Viva starts making scalloped paper towels, I might be in heaven.

Here’s the thing, I got this gem only one time. And then, I couldn’t find it again. I always buy the same kind at the same Target store. Same quantity. You all, the package is not marked “scalloped edge”. I found myself obsessively peeking through the plastic each time I purchased tp to see if I could score it again with no luck. Until Now! Honestly, I had given up on it. I almost forgot about it until I just opened a new package and viola…scalloped edges. You would have thought I had won the lottery I was so excited.

This may sound silly, but I did a little research to see if I could figure out the mystery that is Charmin scalloped edge tp and all I could find was that Charmin did this back in 2018 as a trial run. I never got any then. There were many mixed reviews. Some people felt it didn’t tear as well as the straight edge? Well, I give it 5 stars for style and fun!
